Saturday April 19, 7 p.m. at Inuksuk High School, the Iqaluit Music Society presents a coffee house featuring local performers. Admission is free, donations accepted.

Alianait! fundraiser

Monday, April 21, 7:30 p.m. at Aqsarniit Iliannarvik School, a coffeehouse featuring fiddler Gordon Stobbe and guitarist Greg Simm. Donations support the Alianait! arts festival. For information, call Emily at 979-1484 ext. 2 or email emily@alianait.ca.

Curling volunteers needed

Wednesday, April 23, 7 p.m. at the Iqaluit Curling Club. Meeting of the host committee for the Canadian Mixed Curling Championships taking place in November.

Organizers are looking for volunteers. Everyone interested in helping is welcome. For information email iqaluitcurling@gmail.com.

Inuksuk student art show

Thursday, May 1, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Inuksuk High School. There will be performances by drama and music, a gallery of art, welding shop, jewellery, sewing, woodworking and a bake sale. Some items are available for purchase. Admission is free, donations welcome.
