Iqaluit to host northern development ministers

Iqaluit will play host on Sept. 24 to a two-day gathering of federal, territorial and provincial cabinet ministers responsible for northern development.

Indian Affairs Minister Bob Nault will attend the meeting, which will be hosted by Olayuk Akesuk, Nunavut's minister of sustainable development.

The visiting ministers will talk about their three-year action plan, look at their priority projects, and talk about ways of building a skilled workforce in northern Canada.
