A bulldozer sits in front of St. Jude’s Anglican Cathedral, scheduled to be demolished this week. Work had not begun by Wednesday afternoon because of strong winds, which workers feared would blow debris into the adjacent elementary school yard. Fire ravaged the insides of the church last November, leaving the building structurally unsound. The church was deconsecrated on Easter Sunday. (PHOTO BY JOHN THOMPSON)
