Food basket volunteers needed
Saturday, Dec. 16 at 10 a.m. the Cadet Hall. Come help pack and deliver Christmas food baskets for families in need. Organized by the Rotary Club.
Rummage sale
Saturday, Dec. 16 from noon to 4 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 17 from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the old arena. There will also be a silent auction, 50/50 draw, bake sale and loonie-toonie draw.
Fashion show and craft fair
Friday, Dec. 15 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Inuksuk High School. Hosted by the Qikiqtani Inuit Association, with proceeds going to the Qimaavik Women’s Shelter. Entry is $2. Events include a fashion show, craft sale, silent auction, toonie raffle, music and more.

Santa parade
Saturday, Dec. 9 from 1 to 2 p.m. Meet Santa at the Parish Hall afterwards, where hot chocolate and candy canes will be served, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. To register a float, call 979-5617.
Third annual “Stuff-A-Bus”
Saturday, Dec. 9. Help the Nunavut Food Bank by donating food, or money, with the goal of filling a bus with food. The bus will be parked at Northmart from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and at Arctic Ventures from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. For information call 979-4242.
Christmas concert
Monday, Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. at Inuksuk High School. Presented by the Iqaluit Music Society and the Inuksuk High music program. Admission is free. Donations gratefully accepted to support youth and community music programs. For more information, call Heather at 975-2351.

Friday, Dec. 1 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Nunavut Arctic College Nunatta campus. Crafts for sale are made by the college’s jewelry and metalworking students.
