Sewage spill settling? The end may be near for the City of Iqaluit and its alleged sewage spills into Frobisher Bay last year. Crown lawyer Bruce Coates said the two sides were talking "with the hopes a successful resolution can be reached without a trial. A plea and sentencing [will] hopefully take place in July." The city faces 13 Fisheries Act violations. The next scheduled court date is June 3. |
