Print collection opens The 2002 Pangnirtung Community Print Collection opens July 6 at the Nunatta Sunakkutaangit Museum in Iqaluit. The collection, including 31 prints by artists such as Andrew Qappik, Annie Kilabuk Jr. and Ida Karpik, officially opened in North America on June 21. Qappik and Noah Maniapik, another master printmaker from Pangnirtung, participated in a 10-day, eight-city tour of eastern Canada to promote the collection. The exhibit will be on display until August 18. |
