The cross marks the spot

As of Nunatsiaq News' press-time last week, police were still looking for a remand prisoner who escaped from the Baffin Correctional Centre's remand unit on Sept. 17.

The man, Mosesie Nakashook, 33, is five feet, five inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds.

Police say Nakashook was being held in remand as he awaited trial on a charge of aggravated assault, and that he is considered dangerous.

He has short black hair and sports a tattoo of a cross in the middle of his forehead.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call the Iqaluit RCMP at 979-1111.
