Girl, 15, dies following Pond Inlet ATV accident

A 15-year-old girl suffered critical injuries and later died following an all-terrain-vehicle accident June 28 near Pond Inlet, the Nunavut RCMP said in a news release.

“The vehicle lost control and the driver and passengers were ejected,” police said in the release.

The 15-year-old was “critically injured” and later died.

Police did not name the girl, but said they continue to investigate the incident.
