Peepee Kooneeliusie will be remembered with love

Peepee Kooneeliusie: Jan. 4, 1949 — Nov. 24, 2009.

Our dearest loved one passed away, but will never be forgotten.

She battled ovarian cancer for over three years. She was a gentle, caring, patient individual.

She is survived by husband David. Daughters Kayrene (Chitee) and Rita (Willie); biological son Samuel (Daisy) and pre-deceased by her eldest born Gordie and his sons J.D. and Nigel.

She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren Aimo, Lana and Eena. Her grandchildren from Samuel are Dennis, Kelly, Oolana, Gordie and Leah. Great grandchildren Andrea, Jamie and Faith. She is also survived by her siblings Palluq and Rosie.

We are grateful for our family members from Qikiqtarjuaq and Iqaluit who came to be with us. Thank you for your prayers.

We are also thankful for the care that she received from the Ottawa General Hospital and Larga Baffin Staff throughout her stays.

We thank individuals and businesses that donated food. We also thank the Pangnirtung Health Centre staff and the doctors who cared for her.
