Restorative justice fun

Tonight, 7 p.m., Parish Hall. The Restorative Justice Society invites everyone for games, snacks, music and door prizes in celebration of Restorative Justice Week from Nov. 14-19.

National Child Day Parade

Saturday, Nov. 20, 1 p.m., starting from the Cadet Hall. Iqaluit’s childcare facilities invite participants to the Cadet Hall afterwards for hot chocolate and snacks.

Chess showdown

Saturday, Nov. 20, Royal Canadian Legion. Siberian chess grandmaster Petr Kiriakov will play simultaneous games of chess with all takers. Registration starts at 12:30 p.m., games start at 1:30. For more information, call Andrew Plunkett at 979-1352.

CFRT Radio fundraiser dance

Saturday, Nov. 20, doors open at 7 p.m., Francophone centre. $5 in advance, $10 doors at the door.

Habitat for Humanity info night

Monday, Nov. 22, 7 p.m., Parish Hall. Habitat for Humanity is looking for volunteers for a construction project in June 2006.
